Band Sites: My Faves: Replicant Clothing Brian “Head” Welch of KoRn and Ryan Shuck from Orgy have started a clothing company. The company -- called Replicant -- is “American ROCK clothing”. The guys wanted to offer kids cool clothes that were affordable, and the result was Replicant. Not just phat, and not just futuristic, the line has something for everyone. QOTD The story was fabulous, the music was even better, and with a cameo by Mr. Davis ... The movie, well, ROCKED. Literally! Queen of the Damned, in case you've been living under a rock for....ever, is actually the third book in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, but it was made into the sequel to the raved-about Interview with the Vampire movie. If you ask me, this one was better than the first. Townsend not only played a better Lestat, but the entire cast was incredible. The music, written by none other than Jonathan Davis (!!) and Richard Gibbs, was incredible! This was also Aaliyah's last movie before her untimely and devastating death. You're in our hearts, Aaliyah. R.I.P. QOTD Soundtrack As mentioned above, the soundtrack for Queen of the Damned is wonderful. Now, maybe I haven't been around for very long (not likely) or something, but I have never seen a movie site put up the soundtrack on the website so that you can listen to the ENTIRE thing from start to finish. That, in my book, is entirely too cool. I was able to listen to the soundtrack BEFORE it was out on CD, and that influenced my buying it more than you can imagine. Go ahead and take a listen! Wizards of the Coast I will be a child forever. I've finally decided that at almost 30 years old. This is a link to the master website for the Dungeons and Dragons pen/paper roleplaying game homepage. Enjoy! (I have for 10 years. :-D ) Guitar World What band site would be complete without a link to one of the greatest guitar mags ever published? Oh, and lookie! Who are those gorgeous guys on the cover of June's issue? Why! That's none other than Head and Munky of KoRn. Drool city, if you ask me. Hey, "Mo' Diddley", if you read this email me and I'll give you my phone number! :-D |
